SPX Stone/Fenner 1789-AC 12VDC Electric Motor, Extended Duty. Extended duty does not extend the life of the motor. Extended duty offers a longer continuous run time than a standard duty motor. This motor is used on many SPX Stone/Fenner hydraulic power units in a variety of applications from dump trailers, dump trucks, boat lifts, lift gates, tow trucks, wreckers, auto lifts, and snow plows, etc.
The motor is single-terminal and has a 9-tooth spline shaft. Part number 1789-AC or 1789*AC. This motor ships as a kit with a new pump-motor shaft coupling. Kit number is KMD3. This motor also works as a replacement for SPX Stone/Fenner standard duty motors, part numbers 1787-AC (1787*AC, KMD1) and 4142-AC.
